Styling Series - Teenage Boys Room

Welcome back to our Styling Series, where we will share with you, ideas and tips on how to style your spaces.

Today in our Styling Series we are bring you is a Teenage Boy's Bedroom.

One of our customers requested a bedroom mood board for her teenage son, and i was really excited to get to work on this. We are planning on renovating our son's bedroom later on this year so I used his style as inspiration.

Using our Midnight duvet set and Linen stripe sheet set I wanted to keep the room simple with only a few features. I started with choosing some wall panelling, this is an inexpensive way to add a suble feature, doing a half panelled nib wall, this will act not only as a headboard for behind the bed but also a shelf for little nik naks.

My next feature piece was the art, for kids rooms you can always go as crazy as you like with the art, showcasing your childs interests and favourite colours while still keeping the rest of the room neutral. I choose these awesome skateboard decks from The Goodroom, they have a great range of colours and styles, you can also buy blank skateboards and get creative by designing and painting them however you like.

From this point I carefully choose soft tones and timeless interiors in this space.

Tip – By keeping the room's colour scheme neutral you can add some bright splashes of colour using art.
